2020 was a challenging year for many and it was no different for CSA. That said, CSA persevered as one of the youth organizations that didn’t give up on its programs despite the challenges.
With the support of our wonderful coaches and membership, the CSA Board pulled off a great fall season and ensured the financial strength of the organization. We’re thankful for our board, volunteers, and membership for all they’ve done this year.
Thanks to approved vaccines, there’s hope on the horizon. We’re all eager to turn the page on 2020, but CSA needs your help to continue to bounce back in 2021. We’re calling on the same wonderful coaches and membership to step up and help ensure CSA’s success in 2021.
CSA looks for new board members every year as previous board members finish their terms and typically move on as their children age up. That’s true again this year, but the need is even greater as we have a number of board positions that are, or will soon, be vacant due to the completion of terms and job changes related to the impact of COVID.
2021 holds a lot of promise, but as a volunteer-run organization, CSA can only move forward and roar back by finding new volunteers to step up and help.
Below is a summary of CSA’s Board Position openings and most pressing needs:
Currently Vacated Positions
TERMS ARE UP IN FEBRUARY FOR THE FOLLOWING ELECTED POSITIONS (2 Year Terms):
- Vice President
APPOINTED POSITIONS (1 Year Terms):
The following Positions are Appointed annually. We typically have a mix of new and returning people appointed to these positions. We anticipate the same for 2021, so please consider expressing interest in the following positions:
- Assistant Fundraising Director
- 3 Member-at-Large Positions

New people have stepped up to serve on the board and help run CSA every year since 1990. CSA has great facilities, sound finances, and a strong membership. We’ve weathered the storm of 2020, but need new people to step up from our CSA membership to join the board and help lead the organization into a much more promising 2021.
Please reach out if you have interest or questions about any position you may be considering.
